Electric Wasteland is a campy-feeling, mismatched collection based on a post-apocalyptic group living in the desert. The concept is that they are grabbing whatever is left around them to make into outfits. So buckles, safety fabric, leather, and netting.It’s almost like they raided an old junkyard for the fabric—the alternating materials is like a patchwork of findings. The looks are all exaggerated through the materials and use bright colors to bring a playful feel to the collection.

The garments were made through pattern making. The lightning shapes were drafted into the pattern, so they are a part of the outfit—not separate pieces sewn on later. Line details were sewn into the blue leather strips going up the sides.

The materials used are a fishnet material, a blue upholstery leather, a neon yellow safety fabric, a snake/crocodile skin faux leather, large studs, and large buckles.
