Magic is a sketch collection where the focus is on patterns. I wanted to create an evening wear collection that was elegant in shape and fabric, but then had bold patterns as a contrast. The garment design is based on magician assistant costumes, and the patterns are based on vintage magician posters.

The figures were hand-drawn, and then scanned in to be colored digitally. The patterns were made by digitally drawing different objects, positioning them, and then using digital techniques to abstract them and make repeating patterns.
